In the current rosters of the six franchises, Pakistan’s local talent has been
split into five divisions based on their individual performances and prestige
ahead of the PSL Player Draft for the 2021 season.
Over the course of one Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition, Azam Khan and Haider Ali have seen their stocks grow exponentially
as both players have
been elevated to the Gold tier in the annual renewals of the HBL PSL Draft
categories.
In the 13 man Platinum category, Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Babar
Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed are included.
In the meantime, Azam played a few magical innings for PSL 2020 Gladiators and recently made
an impression during the inaugural Lanka Premier League with his blistering power-hitting (LPL).
At a steep strike rate of 186.95, Azam amassed 215 runs for the runners-up Galle Gladiators.
By progressing to the Diamond Group for the sixth season, Qalandars speedster Haris Rauf and Multan Sultans skipper Shan Masood have
enhanced their standing.
Likewise, since finishing as Quetta’s leading wicket-taker in PSL 2020, young
pace sensation Mohammad Hasnain has pushed upwards with the same
trajectory.
