I’m afraid this audio test may be a tad more difficult than the others. Not so much because I’m using filler words, false starts etcetera, which you have to clean up, but also because it’s close to Halloween, so it may be a little scary. You see, I’m, I’m going to tell you a ghost story. And I kind of think it may knock your socks off because contrary to any GoTranscript worker who says otherwise, this one really happened and to me, I was out in Simi Valley as was my want, wandering the highways and byways, and thoroughfares betwixt that fear town and the rest of civilization. Suddenly, my 10 Lizzy ran into an invisible barrier. No matter how much I cranked up the motor, that jalopy just wouldn’t motivate an inch, let alone a silly millimetre. I pulled out my YotaPhone intending to bring up GoTranscript central when suddenly, on the other side of the invisible barrier, I thought I heard a voice. I listened closely, but I couldn’t understand a word he or she was saying. It was almost like trying to decipher one of those unintelligible tags on GoTranscript. Anybody there? I asked. For being the voice replied. Sorry. Would you mind repeating that? I asked. The voice replied, look, I know this is supposed to be a GoTranscript audio test. And thus, I need some unintelligible or inaudible stuff in here in order to give the potential applicants something to do. But could you please speak a little more? A little more loudly? And clearly. I can’t. I can’t hear you at all. I groused. Sure. Set the voice loudly and clearly.

Speaker 1:
How’s this?

Speaker 2:
That’s, that’s great, I replied. Now, would you mind repeating what you were saying before in those inaudible or unintelligible tags that hopefully, the applicant completed and formatted properly? Sure, said the Voice.

Speaker 1:
Would you mind moving your Takata car out of my way so I can get back to the cemetery on the other side of the hill? There’s a guy down there planning to cheat on the GoTranscript audio test. And I need to set him back on the path of righteousness.

Speaker 2:
Oh, I said, sorry about that. I moved my car. And while I didn’t see anything, I heard a whooshing sound like the Santa Ana winds that regularly plague us in the summer. Thanks, said the Invisible voice. And just like that the barrier was gone and be in my rattletrap sailed through as though nothing had happened. The moral of this audio test is don’t cheat. Or you’ll be in the middle of your own version of Dickens A Christmas Carol so fast. You won’t know what pump will shoot you.
